58015 – Tamiya Racing Buggy Rough Rider
In November 1979, Tamiya gave the world the Rough Rider Special Racing Buggy. This very important piece of RC history arguably launched offroad RC. Its impact was incredible. Stunning looks and unparalled inovative design. Enthusiasts have a lot to thank this very special buggy for. In 2009, RC fans were delighted when Tamiya re-released a 30th anniversary edition of Rough Rider called the Buggy Champ.

Well that intro pretty much covers it, it was the first really successful R/C off-road buggy, independent suspension based on the VW prototype, working shocks, sealed radio box, that ment for this one to get dirty, I know mine did!! Yes it weighed a ton and the run times were short but it was just the best thing a kid could have and I still love it! The reissue just means we can get parts again and thanks Tamiya for not messing with the design it is the ICON
