58061 – Tamiya Striker

Entry level buggy released in February 1987, sporting an interesting F1 style hard body.  The Striker has a good fanbase with cars and parts (new and used), still available at affordable prices. On unusual feature of this car is that the chassis is produced in white injection molded plastic and forms the lower section of the body shell too. This car was and is ideal for newcomers to the world of RC Cars as it requires very little painting to complete the model. Only the driver and cockpit required painting, and many examples found on ebay and other RC Classified sites are still unpainted to this day.
