Eye-catching scale Celica, released in July 1987, with an excellently detailed lexan body and an awesome 4WD chassis which debuted on the Tamiya Porsche 959.  The GrB and the 959 were expensive in their day and still command a high sum today.

This one was just a bit better than the Porsche 959 with the center diff and for a car produced in 1987 it is a bloody rocket! At 1/12th scale it looks really tiny sitting there then it just blasts off, handles well but they got knocked around alot so bodys are super rare, there is an acceptable repro available now from TBG but again decals will be a problem. Suspention gets more fragile with age but if you can find a safe area to run one it is a blast, compareable to a lot of modern offerings in the right hands. Personaly I think it is better looking than the Porsche, this is very angular, very purposeful, very rally. The porsche looks like the same bathtub they made for 40 years.
