THE FIRST WORLD CHAMPION!
The RC10, what other car changed the way we race more than this one?
Tamiya had the scale looks but for durabilty, speed and handling in the early 80′s not much could beat this package. Real off road ideas, scaled down, built tough, and if you think about it they are still making this car today, just one constant evolution till now. Want to have some fun? Take an old Gold pan RC10 and put in a new brushless setup with LI-Po’s and it is incredible! This car is still a contender in the right hands ( not mine) I like my Tamiyas a whole lot but there had to be one of these in the lot too, OK 2 in the lot. Long live the RC10!
This is on my list as 1 i must own at some point in my life
I used to hate these cars in the 80′s as they used to thrash the pants off me everyweek but i secretly loved them really
at £350 for the basic kit (no bearings / no nothing) in 1985 this was SOOOOoooo out of my reach i never thought i’d own one… OK maybe it took 25 years but I got there in the end ;0)
Awesome car the RC10. Pretty, and functional.
